For the serious angler who wishes to combine an offshore capable, dry riding hull, with the features found on a bay boat without trading one for the other, the ACE 24 is a solid option. Action Craft begins with a 24-foot platform sporting higher gunnels and their Qui-Dry running surface delivering a hull capable of braving the elements that many backwater boats can't even consider tackling. Combine this hull design with a deck layout that blends an inshore casting deck configuration with a sunken cockpit around the center console and a mid-ship gunnel height offering safety and security, and this model makes a lot of sense.
The 24 ACE features large elevated casting decks both forward and aft perfect for sight fishing and casting around coastal waters. A 21-cubic foot dry storage compartment under the foredeck holds lots of gear while keeping it out of the weather. The rear casting deck is also roomy and features a combined 25-cubic feet of storage below as well. Two live wells are standard and include both a center aft deck 32-gallon oval well and additional 22-gallon oval center well. The casting decks include SeaDek as a standard feature which not only provide a sure grip surface but also make the boat quiet in shallow water and add a nice detail to the finished appearance. Forward seating for up to four people is built in without taking away work space and a step up to the forward casting deck provides a bit surer footedness on a rocking boat. Two jump seats incorporate into the rear casting deck for additional seating options. The slim profile console and helm are designed to provide the maximum use of space while leaving plenty of room to work around in the center of the boat. Another great use of space for the helm seating area is found in the helm tackle station/ drink cooler. A large tackle station opens to the cockpit with plenty of room for gear storage and below it, an integrated Frigid Rigid drink cooler serves double duty as a drink box and additional seat. Lots of thought went into the design of this boat before the first one hit the water and it is evident in every inch of the boat.
